Prayer

Prayer is the conscious union of our mind with the Mind of God.  In prayer we submit our will by aligning our vision with the perfect vision of God, seeing no lack, realizing all needs are met.

We all have human limitations which bring suffering and pain at various times in our lives, and we find ourselves in need of support in rising above the difficulties and challenges we face.  We are here for you during those times.

Send us your prayer requests to eolhec@aol..com and we will hold you in loving prayer, lifting you to the Light to be healed.  We see you as perfect and whole, the way you were created to be.  This is how God sees you, too!

Please also send written prayers for inclusion below.  We hope you find solace and comfort here…

“THE LORD’S PRAYER”

Matthew 6:9-13
KJV

Our Father
which art in heaven,

Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done
in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power,
and the glory,
for ever.
Amen.

The Great Invocation
A Prayer for All Humanity

From the point of Light within the Mind of God
Let light stream forth into the minds of men.
Let Light descend on Earth.

From the point of Love within the Heart of God
Let love stream forth into the hearts of men.
May Christ return to Earth.

From the centre where the Will of God is known
Let purpose guide the little wills of men –
The purpose which the Masters know and serve.

From the centre which we call the race of men
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.

“OUR BIRTH IN UNITY ”
translated by Neil Douglas-Klotz.

O Birther! Father-Mother of the Cosmos,
you create all that moves
in light.

O Thou! The Breathing Life of all,
Creator of the Shimmering Sound that
touches us.

Respiration of all worlds,
we hear you breathing–in and out–
in silence.

Source of Sound: in the roar and the whisper,
in the breeze and the whirlwind, we
hear your Name.

Radiant One: You shine within us,
outside us–even darkness shines–when
we remember.

Name of names, our small identity
unravels in you, you give it back
as a lesson.

Wordless Action, Silent Potency–
where ears and eyes awaken, there
heaven comes.

O Birther! Father-Mother of the Cosmos!

“THE PRAYER FOR PROTECTION,”
by James Dillet Freemon

The Light of God surrounds us, (me)
The Love of God enfolds us,
The Power of God protects us,
The Presence of God watches over us,
Wherever we are, God is.

And all is well.  Amen

“THE SERENITY PRAYER,”
attributed to Reinhold Niebuhr

God, give me grace to accept with serenity
the things that cannot be changed,
Courage to change the things
which should be changed,
and the Wisdom to distinguish
the one from the other.
Living one day at a time,
Enjoying one moment at a time,
Accepting hardship as a pathway to peace,
Taking, as Jesus did,
This sinful world as it is,
Not as I would have it,
Trusting that You will make all things right,
If I surrender to Your will,
So that I may be reasonably happy in this life,
And supremely happy with You forever in the next.

Amen.

The common form of the Serenity Prayer:

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.

Amen.

“PRAYER OF ST. FRANCIS,”
by St. Francis of Assisi

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
Amen.

“Third Step Prayer”
From Page 63 of the “Big Book of Alcoholic’s Anonymous”

God, I offer myself to Thee
To build with me & to do with me as Thou wilt.
Relieve me of the bondage of self,
that I may better do Thy will.
Take away my difficulties,
that victory over them may bear witness to those I would help
of Thy Power, Thy love & Thy way of life.
May I do Thy will always.
Amen.

“Seventh Step Prayer”
From Page 76 of the “Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous”

My Creator,

I am now willing that You should have all of me,
good and bad.
I pray that You now remove from me
every single defect of character which stands in the way
of my usefulness to You and my fellows.
Grant me strength, as I go out from here,
to do Your bidding.

Amen

“PRAYER OF ABUNDANCE’

Divine Love, through me,bless es and multipies, all that I am, all that I have, all that I give, and all that I receive.

Amen.

“PRAYER OF JABEZ” (1 Chronicles 4:10)

Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me!
